Kalpasi, also known as dagarful or blackstone flower, is a lichen from trees and rocks in many parts of India.

It adds an authentic, earthy richness whenever used.

We use it in several of our dishes including Chettinad Chicken, Chickpea and Potato Chettinad and our very own  version of Chilli Chicken Coriander - Soaji Chicken.
